Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge: How to Use Reading Mode in Internet App in Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

When you find a nice post/article on a webpage while browsing with the Internet app in your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and want to read it conveniently without you have to be disturbed with the extra things in the webpage, e.g., advertisement, the webpage header, widgets, etc., you can use the reading mode feature in this app so those extra things will be eliminated and you can focus on what you want to read.

How to use the reading mode in the Internet app?
You can use this feature by using the following steps:
  1. While you're reading a content of a webpage, tap in the left side of the address bar to enable the reading mode feature. FYI, this icon won't be available if the webpage is not fully loaded.
  2. While the reading mode feature is enabled, you can do the following actions:
    • Adjusting the page size, go to the step #3.
    • Sharing the page, go to the step #4.
    • Saving the page for offline reading, go to the step #5.
    • Finding a word within the page, go to the step #6.
    • Using the night mode feature, go to the step #7.
    • Adjusting the zoom level, go to the step #8.
    • Disabling the reading mode, go to the step #9.
  3. Adjusting the page size:
If you have difficulty when reading with the current page size, you can adjust its size by tapping Enlarge to make it bigger or tapping Shrink to make it smaller.
  4. Sharing the page:
If you want to share the page you're reading with others, tap More at the top right and then select Share. Next, you just need to follow the on-screen instructions to finish the process.
  5. Saving the page for offline reading:
You can save the page you're reading so you can read it later without you have to be connected to the Internet by tapping More at the top right and then select Save webpage.
  6. Finding a word within the page:
You can find a word within the page you're reading so you can easily jump to the part you're looking by using these steps:
    • Tap More at the top right and then select Find on page.
    • Enter a word you want to find in the Find on page field and then tap in the virtual keyboard to start searching. Your phone will highlight every instance of the search word you've entered. Tap or to find each instance of the word you entered.
  7. Using the night mode feature:
You can enable this mode to reverse the color between the background and the font so you can have a better display to read the page while you're in a low light environment by using these steps:
    • Tap More at the top right and then select Enable Night mode to enable it.
    • The background color will turn black and the font will turn white.
    • If you'd like to disable the night mode, tap More at the top right and then select Disable Night mode.
  8. Adjusting the zoom level:
If needed, you can adjust the zoom level of the page you're reading by pinching the screen with two fingers to zoom out, or spreading two fingers apart together on the screen to zoom in.
  9. Disabling the reading mode:
If you want to exit from this mode and want to revert the page back to the original state, tap in the left side of the address bar.
